Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students in their academic journey?

GSL Education is seeking a committed and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting local schools and helping pupils develop their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students one-on-one or in small groups, helping them with their schoolwork and emphasizing the learning objectives.
  • Implement lesson plans in conjunction with teachers to provide each student the specific attention they require to succeed.
  • Take part in extracurricular activities and school-sponsored events to improve your education overall.
  • Organise and arrange the supplies and materials for the classroom.
  • Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education).

About the Role:

This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including a relevant enhanced DBS.
