Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Are you a dedicated and passionate individual looking to make a positive impact in the education sector?

GSL Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team, supporting local schools and helping pupils develop their education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver lessons, create lesson plans, and document progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students one-on-one or in small groups, helping them with their schoolwork and emphasizing learning objectives.
  • Implement lesson plans in conjunction with teachers to provide each student with the specific attention they require to succeed.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school-sponsored events to enhance your education and skills.
  • Organize and arrange classroom supplies and materials.
  • Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education).

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to motivate and support students, as well as being creative, well-organized, and able to deliver dynamic lessons.
