Job Title: Admissions and Inclusions Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions and Inclusions Officer to join our team at Cromwell Hospital in London. As an Admissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth admission process for our patients, working closely with clinicians, secretaries, and other hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain demographic and financial information from patients and their relatives
  • Book inpatient and daycase admissions, utilizing booking and theatre modules to maximize hospital resources
  • Facilitate pre-admission clinic bookings and address any subsequent queries
  • Provide quotes for self-pay bookings and respond to requests via email or phone
  • Conduct courtesy calls/emails to patients to ensure necessary information is obtained and to answer any questions
  • Meet and greet patients at the pre-admission clinic or on the day of admission, ensuring timely facilitation to avoid delays
  • Assist with monitoring account lengths of stay and discharge to ensure full financial coverage, keeping patients informed of costs where applicable

Requirements:

  • Administration experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
  • Good timekeeping and flexibility
