About the Role

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for the development, product approvals, and marketing of Fire Products in the UK, while providing support to the MEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Ensure legislative compliance of fire products and services, maintain product approval, oversee product quality and performance, and develop new fire products and solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Offerings Manager as SAA to promote a global fire product, and work with various departments and teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Customer Service: Uphold the highest level of customer service as defined in the Armstrong Customer Service Charter, and address technical queries related to fire products for the UK.
  • Project Management: Conduct contract reviews for fire sales order entries, identify parts for generating fire pump spares quotations, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Armstrong Fluid Technology on industry bodies like LPCB and BAFSA, and maintain FM & LPCB product approvals and future European approvals.
Requirements
  • Education: HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering, and Professional Diploma in Business Management.
  • Experience: Extensive technical knowledge of fire pumps and associated products, and practical and office-based experience in the building services industry.
  • Skills: Capable of motivating others, able to meet deadlines, and skilled in project management and customer service.
