Key Responsibilities:- Drive Regional Sales Growth: Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve budgeted targets, leveraging your expertise in renewable energy and business development.
- Lead Business Development: Direct the development of regional-level sales goals and business development action plans, closing new consulting engagements and expanding long-term client relationships.
- Manage Consulting Engagements: Oversee consulting engagements in the renewable energy sector, assembling and leading project teams to deliver high-quality work products and ensure effective resource utilization.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Actively team with colleagues in other offices, regions, and practices to identify and pursue opportunities, generating revenue and driving business growth.
- Manage Regional Business: Effectively use sales data, manage cost of sales for projects, and assess regional financial results to ensure the success of the business.
- Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and expand long-term client relationships, seeking opportunities for follow-up work and developing account management for the region.
- Provide Direct Leadership: Set, communicate, and model high standards of performance and professionalism, developing and maintaining a high level of personal credibility and work ethic management with staff.
- Develop and Train Talent: Personally and actively involved in sourcing, selecting, developing, and training new talent in conjunction with other business leaders, focusing on the professional development of self and junior staff.
- Negotiation and Facilitation: Utilize strong negotiation and facilitation skills to motivate, persuade, and build consensus, driving business growth and success.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, renewable energy technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record of successful business origination and project delivery.
- Skills: Excellent business development and client service experience, with strong negotiation and facilitation skills, and proficiency with standard industry software tools.
