Autism Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant to join our team at one of our partner schools in Lewisham.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to young people with Autism, promoting their emotional well-being and academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop personalized plans and strategies for students.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to safeguarding practices and policies.
- A First-Class Bachelor's Degree from a reputable UK University.
- Prior experience working with young people in an educational setting.
- Sensitivity to emotional dysregulation and strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.
- Patience and empathy for individuals who may require alternative teaching methods.
- A competitive salary of £530 per week (paid via PAYE, including holiday pay).
- A Monday-to-Friday schedule, 8:30am-4pm, with opportunities for professional development.
- Work alongside like-minded professionals in a school with outstanding facilities and a progressive curriculum.
