This full-time, permanent contract will involve teaching students aged 6-7 and contributing to the development of a stimulating and nurturing learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students;">
  • Implementing effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students;">
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and setting targets for improvement;">
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices;">
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships;">
  • Communicating effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns;">
  • Participating in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field;">
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent;">
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting;">
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods;">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;">
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners;">
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices;">
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.">

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £38,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including comprehensive training and development opportunities, a generous pension scheme, and access to our state-of-the-art facilities.
