Senior HR Advisor

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Advisor to join our team at Oldham Council. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide expert advice and support to managers on a range of HR-related matters.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Serve as the first point of contact for HR enquiries, offering professional guidance and support.
* Manage a professional caseload efficiently, prioritizing tasks and delivering results.
* Advise on the implementation of various policies, including attendance improvement, grievance resolution, capability and performance management, disciplinary matters, recruitment and retention, and change management.
* Log and record casework outcomes for service evaluation and improvement.
* Provide expert advice to HR colleagues on casework such as disciplinary, capability, grievance, redundancy, and medical incapacity.

**Requirements**

* Demonstrable experience in an HR advisory role.
* Experience of guiding managers through the TUPE transfer process.
* Good working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Experience working in a Trade Union environment on employee relations issues.
