**Job Summary:** Learning Support Role in SEN Education

**Estimated Salary:** £32,000 - £40,000 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic individual to fill the Learning Support Role in our SEN education program. As a key member of our team, you will provide personalized support to students with complex needs, collaborate with teaching staff and therapy teams, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality education.

The college offers a unique opportunity to work with students aged 16-21 with profound and multiple learning disabilities, communication and behavioural difficulties, and specific medical needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to students with complex needs
  • Implementing education plans and adapting to changing student requirements
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and therapy teams to ensure effective student outcomes
  • Developing patience, empathy, and skills in a dynamic team environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of various disabilities and conditions, such as PMLD, autism, and behaviours of concern
  • Patience, empathy, and passion for supporting students with SEN
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN (desirable)
