Job Title: IPS Employment Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals who have complex care needs and a history of offending. As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will provide personalized support to help clients achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1-2-1 Individual Placement and Support sessions
  • Adhere to the 8 IPS key principles
  • Monitor performance and maintain high fidelity
  • Conduct vocational profiling to understand client needs and goals
  • Develop and implement career plans to support clients in finding and sustaining employment
  • Provide job search support, CV production, and interview techniques
  • Assess and address client support needs, including benefits advice and disclosure
  • Facilitate group interventions to deliver key training messages and foster a peer-support environment
  • Create referral partners and engage with employers to generate referrals and build collaborative working partnerships
  • Source job opportunities for clients through tailored job search and regular contact with trusted employers
  • Provide in-work support to clients and employers to help sustain employment
