Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior MEMS R&D Engineer to be responsible for designing and developing new MEMS devices. The role will involve studying existing technology and creating new novel MEMS concepts. Contributing to MEMS wafer process requirements will be required, as well as modelling and simulation. Participation in project planning activities, particularly for estimation of time/effort needed for sensor development tasks, will be a critical part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new MEMS devices
  • Study existing technology and create new novel MEMS concepts
  • Contribute to MEMS wafer process requirements
  • Model and simulate MEMS devices
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in MEMS device development
  • Knowledge in wafer process development, device characterisation, packaging etc
  • Semiconductor materials knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering or Science subject. Post graduate degree preferred
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
