Research Technician for Functional Materials Deposition and Processing

Job Summary
The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled Research Technician to join our team in the Cambridge section of the Sir Henry Royce Institute and the Collaborative R&D Environment for Physics (CORDE) of the Cavendish Laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, run and develop the ambient processing cluster tool as a small research facility.
- Ensure the tool performs technically to its full potential.
- Engage with a wide range of academic and industrial users and support them in their process development.
- Develop and implement sustainable operating procedures to ensure the tool is operated financially in a fully sustainable manner.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level/level 6 vocational qualification or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- Specific experience in functional materials deposition and processing.
