Contract Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Densell Recruitment. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of property reinstatement projects, including domestic and commercial repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of property reinstatement projects, including domestic and commercial repairs
  • Schedule repairs and redecoration works, and produce scopes
  • Manage contractors and repairs projects to completion, including cost management
  • Ensure Health & Safety and CDM compliance, and carry out site audits
  • Identify new contractors for addition to the network as required
  • Performance manage and audit contractors in your area

Requirements:

  • Experience in contract managing property refurbishments and renovation projects is essential
  • Some insurance claim damage or subsidence experience/knowledge would be ideal
  • Working knowledge of Asbestos Handling, CDM, DPA, H&S, and Party Wall Act is required
  • Ideal candidates will have a building/technical related qualification, such as an HNC or Building Surveying/Engineering Degree
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills are essential
