About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team at Westgate House Care Centre in Ware, Hertfordshire. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily activities, promoting their dignity and independence, and helping them live happy and healthy lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily activities, such as washing and dressing, developing care plans, and assisting with meals.
  • Be a friend and champion for our residents, promoting their dignity and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, relatives, and team members, prioritizing workloads and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, building strong relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues.

About You

We are looking for individuals who share our values, have a caring nature, and a positive attitude. You will have good communication skills, both verbal and written, and a willingness to learn and develop. Previous experience working with the elderly is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided.
