About the Role
Binnies, an RSK Group company, is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join our @one Alliance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety strategy for the @One alliance, ensuring accurate and relevant data and KPIs are used to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with programme area project delivery teams to ensure safety at work and on site at all times, communicating and investigating incidents in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain central alliance procedures and policies to support the health and safety strategy, ensuring compliance with partner and Anglian Water safety rules and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with current legislation, best practice, and statutory requirements, and ensure the team is aware of new and forthcoming changes.
- Implement and utilize inspection systems, ensuring each construction site is inspected regularly.
- Enhance health and safety awareness through training, briefings, presentations, and initiatives.
- Oversee the management of a team to develop a first-class health and safety facility across the alliance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess substantial experience in health and safety management in a design and construction environment, as well as holding relevant qualifications such as the NEBOSH Diploma and Graduate IOSH or higher membership level.
You will be an experienced people manager with an open, honest, and clear communication style, passionate about the safety and wellbeing of a workforce. You will be influential in championing the importance of health and safety in our day-to-day operations and culture.
