South West Water is seeking an experienced Demand Management Specialist to join its Water Resources team. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for leading the demand strategy team in setting and overseeing the water demand strategy.

About the Role:

You'll work closely with stakeholders to build relationships and credibility with the Environment Agency and industry bodies. You'll also be responsible for engaging with the smart metering programme and providing strategic advice and guidance on demand-related aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the demand strategy teamSetting and overseeing the water demand strategyBuilding and leading a high-performing teamPlanning and managing resourcesEnsuring effective long-term strategic demand planning

What We Are Looking For:

  • A scientific or environmental degree
  • Experience in leading projects or programmes, preferably in water demand planning
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Understanding of demand forecasting methodologies and strategies for promoting water efficiency and conservation
