Accounts Assistant - Financial Data Management

Are you an analytical and organized individual with a knack for numbers? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for managing financial information? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Acorn by Synerige is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their client's team in Swindon. As an Accounts Assistant at their company, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced accountants, assisting in various tasks related to accounts and tax preparation.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their accounts and tax preparation needs. This will involve compiling and organizing financial documents, preparing annual accounts up to trial balance, and ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date. You will also have the opportunity to review the annual accounts and provide recommendations for improvement.

In addition to assisting with annual accounts, the role also involves preparing management accounts for clients. This will require a strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyze data to provide insightful reports. Your expertise in this area will be crucial in helping clients make informed decisions about their business.

As the Accounts Assistant, you will also be responsible for the timely and accurate submission of VAT and CIS returns. You will need to be familiar with the relevant regulations and procedures in order to ensure compliance.

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, ideally with experience in a professional services or accounting firm. A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, but not required. We are also open to candidates who are studying towards a relevant qualification and have some experience in an accounting-related role.

Acorn by Synerige acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
