At Carbon Underwriting, we are seeking a skilled Claims Data Analyst to join our team. As a Claims Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering robust TPA oversight and optimizing team efficiency by providing data, metrics, and insights on TPA and Claims Department performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manipulate third-party data to analyze claims and highlight trends, performance issues, leakage, costs, litigation, and fraud.
- Ensure DCA's provide regular compulsory monthly and quarterly claim reports on time.
- Assist in building a DCA Performance framework.
- Act as a conduit between Graphene and the claims teams to enhance our claims analytical offering.
- Gather and generate KPIs and MI reports for claims monitoring purposes and analysis.
- Improve the quality of data received from third parties.
- Manage and reconcile Loss funds, and assist with Lloyd's market funding initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve claims processes.
- Assist with creating effective reports, selecting essential criteria, and information to provide to Claims Managers and Underwriters.
- Collaborate with underwriters and client meetings to help underwriters gain and retain profitable business.
- Lead design claims bordereaux templates and write specifications.
- Claims data entry for internally managed claims when required.
- Support the Head of Claims with respect to Claims initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- Claims data analytical experience preferred.
- A commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
- Knowledge of London Market DA Claim operations/procedures.
- ACII or equivalent or progression towards qualification.
- Basic knowledge of principles of risk management.
- Effective prioritization and organizational skills to meet timescales.
- Advanced literacy and numeric skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new systems.
