Maternity Governance Specialist

The Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Maternity Governance Specialist to oversee risk management and patient safety in their maternity service. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the trust's maternity service offering and contribute to delivering safe, personalized care.
Main Responsibilities- Transforming maternity services in line with national guidance and addressing health inequalities for minority backgrounds and high-risk groups.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor patient safety.
This position comes with a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. As part of the BHT family, you'll benefit from learning and development opportunities, NHS benefits, and access to NHS discount schemes.
Requirements- Demonstrable experience of improving patient safety and knowledge of contemporary Nursing and Midwifery workforce changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to successfully collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
