We are seeking a Social Skills Mentor to support children with additional needs at Rednal Hill Junior School. Our school serves a wonderfully diverse community, and we are committed to engaging with children, families, and agencies to ensure children feel happy, safe, and successful in their learning.

The ideal candidate will be committed, enthusiastic, flexible, and creative in supporting children with additional needs, particularly those requiring social skills development and emotional literacy support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with additional needs in developing social skills and emotional literacy
  • Develop good working relationships and effective communication with children, parents, visiting professionals, and outside agencies
  • Contribute to the school's Pastoral Team and undertake Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training

This role requires fluent English language proficiency and is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).

Estimated Salary: £26,250 per annum, depending on experience
