Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Assistant at the Mercure Cardiff North Hotel. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality service to guests by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
- Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts, ensuring all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
- Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions, accounting procedures, issue of room keys, and guest confidentiality/privacy.
- Maintain communication channels between hotel guests and all hotel departments, both verbally and in writing, as required.
- Attend to other duties as requested by management and supervisors.
Requirements
- Work experience in the hospitality industry is not essential, but a desire to provide excellent customer service is a must.
- Good interpersonal skills, guest-oriented, and service-minded.
- Good listening skills and ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Good presentation and confident speaking skills.
- Dynamic and fluent in the local language, with business English skills.
