About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Cheshire primary schools. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs, providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the SENCo.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Observe and record student progress, contributing to progress reports and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Support students in developing essential social and life skills.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
