Your New Organisation

Our client is a leading social housing organisation committed to providing safe and affordable housing for their community.

As a Contract Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of contracts related to property maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments.

Your New Role

You will work closely with Senior Surveyors to provide contract management advice and contractor performance updates.

Analyse and become familiar with current contractor JCT contracts and advise on the correct processes and procedures.

Support the operations team with contract administration, attending contract pre-commencement and progress meetings as required.

Prepare and send enquiries to contractors, inviting them to quote, and analyse quotes to make recommendations.

Cooperate with colleagues to consistently deliver projects on time and within agreed budgets.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

You will need experience of different forms of building contract and advise on what contracts to choose for particular projects.

Advise and prepare suitable pricing documents, ensuring contracts are managed correctly post-procurement.
