Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Kautec Recruitment. As a key member of our fleet management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a diverse fleet of HGVs, rigids, and light commercial vehicles.
  • Conduct MOT preparation and scheduled servicing to DVSA standards.
  • Identify and correct running defects, as well as perform chassis and fabrication work, hydraulics and pneumatics, and electrical and wiring inspections and corrections.


Requirements:

Ideally, you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ, or equivalent. Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable, as would an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
