Job Title: Business Risk Officer

The Business Risk Officer is a strategic professional who plays a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the business. This role requires a deep understanding of the organization's operations, products, and services, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with business changes, regulatory commitments, and remediation work.
  • Support the review and challenge process for the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks.
  • Monitor adherence to risk management standards and ensure adequate governance and training are in place.
  • Coordinate risk and control responsibilities and ensure accountabilities are embedded within business units.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices.
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, SQL, and Visual Basic is a plus.
