We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator / DBA to join our team at Client Server. As a founding member of a FinTech start-up, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and interesting systems, collaborating with a small team to maintain on-premise Oracle and SQL databases.

Your responsibilities will include upgrades, high availability backup administration, monitoring, and optimisations of servers as well as SQL code and procedures. You will work closely with software engineers and business stakeholders to improve the use of schemas, performant stored procedures, views, functions, and provide subject matter expertise on business critical systems.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with a small team to maintain and optimize Oracle and SQL databases
  • Work with software engineers and business stakeholders to improve database performance and schema usage
  • Provide subject matter expertise on business critical systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices
