Logistics Operations Assistant

Join Victoria Beckham as a Logistics Operations Assistant and play a key role in overseeing the movement of goods within our global supply chain. As a member of our Logistics team, you will work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and couriers to arrange collections and deliveries from suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure stock accuracy when booking in on our company operating system and manage variances with suppliers as needed.
  • Report to customers regarding orders, shipments, and any queries they may have.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to prioritize customer deliveries and ensure all orders are prepared and shipped on time.
  • Ensure the business complies with regulations and update policies and processes as required.
  • Produce all shipping documentation, especially for international purposes.
  • Communicate cross-functionally across the company to ensure all processes are being followed and targets are being met.
  • Manage customer returns and resolution.
  • Coordinate inventory flows for direct-to-customer channels.
  • Support the logistical flow for seasonal fashion shows, events, and special projects.
  • Update and maintain warehouse stock holding.
  • Investigate, resolve, and process inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of our Visual Next ERP system.
  • Support the exit of excess inventory through sample sales.
  • Support the Accounts team with the resolution of any invoice queries as required.
  • Be a main point of contact for the sales team.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
  • Experience in logistics within the fashion industry is essential.
  • Experience of working with fully integrated ERP systems, such as Visual Next, is essential.
  • A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of logistics and administration processes, including international customs requirements, tax, and duties, are required.
  • Experience ideally within a team leader position is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure, are required.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the role and company is essential.
  • Good attention to detail is required.
