Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Playworker to join our team at Junior Adventures Group. As a Breakfast Club & After School Club Playworker, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging environment for children, providing a safe and supportive space for them to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, and more.
- Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies, including signing in and out processes.
- Provide refreshments for the children while maintaining high standards of hygiene and health and safety.
- Set up and pack away play spaces, moving furniture and play equipment as needed.
- Communicate professionally and authentically with team members, parents, children, and schools.
- Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks for all equipment and kit.
- Take the lead in championing health and safety, providing first aid where necessary.
- Keep all information and documents related to the children in our care confidential and secure.
