Senior Packaging Designer | Jo Malone London

At Jo Malone London, we're seeking a talented Senior Packaging Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for creating innovative and on-brand packaging designs that drive our brand strategy and storytelling. Your expertise will be essential in developing creative solutions for limited edition campaigns, primary and secondary packaging, and related collateral materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our design team to create engaging and effective packaging designs that meet our brand's high standards.
  • Develop and present creative concepts to internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective execution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Packaging Development, and Global Creative, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage press runs, colour evaluations, comps, design turnovers, and approvals of all packaging-related artwork to ensure accurate execution at production.
  • Drive sustainability and stay up-to-date with the latest design and technology trends in packaging.

Requirements:

  • BA in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience in packaging and graphic design, with a strong understanding of typography and technical skills in developing packaging from concept to final product.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and innovative design skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Experience with 3D/rendering software is an advantage.
