Senior Packaging Designer | Jo Malone London

At Jo Malone London, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for creating innovative and on-brand packaging designs that drive our brand strategy and storytelling. Your expertise will be essential in developing creative solutions for limited edition campaigns, primary and secondary packaging, and related collateral materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our design team to develop thoughtful and innovative packaging concepts that meet our brand's high standards.
  • Effectively communicate creative objectives and present concepts to internal stakeholders, including senior-level creatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of packaging designs.
  • Manage press runs, colour evaluations, and design turnovers to ensure accurate execution at production.
  • Drive sustainability and stay up-to-date with the latest design and technology trends in packaging.

Requirements:

  • BA in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience in packaging and graphic design, with a strong understanding of typography and technical skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and innovative design skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with fluency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with 3D/rendering software is an advantage.
