Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us as a full-time Volunteer Coordinator. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a strong background in volunteer management, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage volunteer support requests and oversee the development of volunteers
  • Co-ordinate volunteer involvement in various activities, including home visiting, activity support, and fundraising
  • Maintain excellent relationships with volunteers and stakeholders
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on volunteer management best practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of volunteer activity

Requirements:

  • Experience of recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance to colleagues
  • Experience of cross-departmental working
  • Experience of building external networks and relationships
  • Experience of promoting the best standards and practices of volunteer management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • A qualification in volunteer or people management or equivalent relevant vocational experience

Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum
