HV Electrical Project Engineer Role

Sustainable Talent is seeking a skilled HV Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading provider of construction and engineering services within the power transmission and distribution sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in all activities concerned with the design and engineering of projects, including procurement, quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, leading, coordinating, and controlling all activities concerned with the design and procurement of engineering projects.

Refine the engineering construction project plan and lead its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

Act as the face of engineering to the customer/employer/client and build strong, assertive, and positive relationships.

Execute various stages of a project, including project start-up, construction phase, and project completion.

Requirements:

Good commercial mindset and ability to monitor and report any differences in tender quotes to quotes received from vendors.

Ability to advise the Project Manager/LPE in good time of any potential project risks.

Contribute to Early Warnings (EW) and/or Risk Reduction Meetings (RRM).
