Job Title: Part Time School Cleaner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time School Cleaner to join our team at The Aurora Group. As a Part Time School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a cleaning service for the school across all types of rooms, including offices, classrooms, laboratories, halls, corridors, and toilets.
  • Vacuum cleaning floors, spot cleaning of spillages, wiping furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors, and polishing door glass.
  • Emptying and cleaning bins (daily), cleaning toilets, including sanitary fittings and surrounds, mopping and spray cleaning hard floor surfaces.
  • Wiping, dusting, cobweb removal, polishing, replenishing janitorial supplies in toilets, etc. (daily), undertaking deep clean as and when required.
  • Checking and closing windows, switching off lights after work, and ensuring the building is secure on exit.

Requirements:

  • Some knowledge of Health and Safety Regulation in regards to cleaning equipment and cleaning materials.
  • Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the school team.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize work and be flexible.
  • Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
