Job Title: Part Time School Cleaner

Location: Darwen, Lancashire

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part Time School Cleaner to join our team at The Aurora Group. As a Part Time School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out cleaning duties in all areas of the school, including offices, classrooms, laboratories, halls, corridors, and toilets.
  • Empty and clean bins daily.
  • Wipe and polish furniture, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors, and door glass.
  • Check and close windows, switch off lights after work, and ensure the building is secure on exit.
  • Undertake deep cleaning as and when required.
  • Perform other duties as allocated by the school management.

Requirements:

  • Some knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations in regards to cleaning equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the school team.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize work and be flexible.
  • Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
