Sports Development Opportunities in Workington

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach/Graduate Support Worker to join our team at a mainstream secondary school in Workington.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting students who require additional help with their emotional and behavioural needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £105 per day, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with emotional and behavioural difficulties in a mainstream secondary school setting
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to develop and deliver targeted support strategies
  • Recording and monitoring student progress, providing regular updates to the team

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Sports or a related subject
  • Previous experience working with children and young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
