Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Golang Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Golang Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying custom applications, creating and testing resilient software, and driving migration from legacy systems to microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Custom Applications: Utilize your expertise in Golang to design and develop custom applications that meet the client's requirements.
  • Create and Test Resilient Software: Develop and test software that is resilient and can handle high-volume REST APIs.
  • Drive Migration to Microservices Architecture: Lead the migration from legacy systems to microservices architecture, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to the business.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Partner with development teams, QA, and production support to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Golang Expertise: Proficiency in Golang, Java, Git, REST Web Services, Jenkins, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Agile Development Experience: Experience in Agile development methodologies and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a desire to learn new technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Docker and Kubernetes Experience: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Atlassian tools.
  • Open-Source Contributions: Experience with open-source contributions.
