We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SEND Teacher to join our team in West London. As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching all subjects to students with complex needs, focusing on encouraging active participation and developing cognitive, numerical, and verbal reasoning skills.
About the Role
- Develop and implement creative, interactive, and engaging teaching methods to enhance the learning experience of SEND students
- Promote the application of effective teaching strategies to support the academic and personal growth of pupils
- Deliver high-quality teaching and intervention strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Provide a safe and healthy learning environment, adhering to safeguarding procedures
Requirements for the Role
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience in teaching SEND students, ideally with complex needs or autism
- Fluent level of spoken and written English
- Clear understanding of the SEND framework
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to process a new one
