Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our established nursing team at Pinfold Medical Practice. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our practice.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading minor illness clinics, working alongside the On-call GP, and providing assessment, treatment, and health education services to patients. You will also be involved in the development of protocols, standards, and audit tools to facilitate effective delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead minor illness clinics and provide assessment, treatment, and health education services to patients
  • Work alongside the On-call GP to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement protocols, standards, and audit tools to improve care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of the practice nursing team and participate in education and training initiatives
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and reduce inequalities
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with evidence of further nurse training and qualifications relevant to the role
  • Independent prescribing qualification
  • Minimum 1-year prescribing experience working in accordance with UKCC Code of Professional Conduct and The Scope of Professional Practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
