IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the JobAs an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to users across the business, including 1st-3rd line support, hardware and software maintenance, and server, network, and system support.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Monitor firewalls, antivirus, and ensure data standards are upheld
- Support end-users with accounts, permissions, and password management
- Lead projects for upgrades and new technology implementations
- Manage vendor relationships for procurement, repairs, and service agreements
- Make recommendations for new solutions and improve existing infrastructure
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT Engineer role
- Proven track record of providing 1st-3rd line support
- Successful execution of upgrade and implementation projects
- Expertise in Windows server, Active Directory, O 365, and MDM
- Familiarity with Cisco networking and firewalls
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for technology and staying up-to-date with new solutions
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £60000, a 39-hour working week (Monday to Friday), 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays, and the option to purchase additional holiday time.
