Digital Preservation Role

This role involves working on a Wellcome grant to preserve the history of humanitarian medicine. As a Humanitarian Archive Specialist, you will collect and catalogue personal papers of humanitarians and small NGOs. Your primary focus will be on developing a digital toolkit for contemporary humanitarians and NGOs to create sustainable archives.

You will collaborate with the Library's Digital Preservation and Systems Manager to design workflows for ingesting and managing born digital records into the Preservica digital preservation system.

A successful candidate will have a graduate degree and experience in digital archiving, as well as a qualification in archives and records management.

Expected annual salary: £38,933 based on UK averages.
