**About the Role**

The Emerald Group is seeking an experienced Actuarial Business Analyst to join their Delegated Authority (DA) Pricing team in London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for pricing analysis, portfolio monitoring, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing analysis – working with various datasets to produce high-quality pricing analyses in support of partners, helping to improve the quality of their pricing
  • Portfolio monitoring – developing and maintaining data and portfolio monitoring dashboards which are used and trusted by various stakeholders, and utilising these to forecast and communicate emerging performance and key portfolio trends
  • New deals – working collaboratively with other functions to diligently assess the performance of potential new DA portfolios, and assisting with a robust onboarding process when deals are agreed
  • Process improvement – developing and maintaining systems and processes through innovation, incorporating efficiencies and improvements as standard

Requirements:

  • Working towards or recently achieved Actuarial qualifications
  • Experience in General Insurance Actuarial roles, preferably with exposure to delegated authority business
  • Highly numerate and analytical, with strong technical ability and financial awareness
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Skilled at working with a range of tools, such as MS Office, SQL, R, Power BI

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
