Job Description

West Lothian College is seeking an experienced Work-Based Assessor to join our team in the Care, Health and Sport faculty.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping organisations upskill and reskill their workforce by undertaking Modern Apprenticeships and SVQs within the Children and Young People sector.

The successful candidate will be educated to SCQF Level 9 in the Children and Young People sector, and be assessor qualified. They will have a good understanding and previous experience within this sector, as well as good organisational skills to prioritise effectively and the ability to communicate at all levels.

The role involves working from home, being flexible on a fixed term 'as and when' basis, and having the advantage of being flexible in daily working hours over the course of the week.

As a Work-Based Assessor, you will be part of a highly motivated team working with organisations to help their employees achieve and hold qualifications and experience which meet SSSC Management registration requirements.
