Veterinary Lead Surgeon Opportunity in South West Surrey

This well-established, RCVS-accredited veterinary practice is seeking an experienced Lead Vet to manage its branch in South West Surrey. The practice has undergone significant refurbishment and boasts three fully equipped units, including consult rooms, an office, an x-ray room, a dental suite, a theatre, and prep area.
The facilities are impressive, with in-house IDEXX lab machines, laser therapy equipment, extensive endoscopy gear, laparoscopic spay equipment, ultrasound, digital x-ray, and full dental suites with x-rays.
We're looking for a strong GP with an interest in Surgery or Dentistry, who also possesses leadership experience. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary care and services, leading a supportive team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead a team of veterinarians and support staff in delivering excellent patient care
- To oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring seamless delivery of services
- To maintain a positive working environment, fostering collaboration and mentorship among team members
- To develop and implement strategies for improving clinical standards and patient outcomes
Requirements:
- DVM or equivalent degree in Veterinary Medicine
- RCVS accreditation and registration
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care
