About the Role:
The School of Apprenticeships at ARU is an exciting development, demonstrating our commitment to becoming sector-leading in the delivery of excellent apprenticeships. As a Study Coach, you will support and develop apprentices through their Degree Apprenticeship journey, helping them gain the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with apprentices, employers, and internal key contacts to develop our student-focused service.
- Conduct regular reviews with students and their employers to measure progress and agree the way forward.
- Provide one-to-one study skills support and progression, and experience facing challenges and solving problems for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or with relevant professional training and development experience within one of the Degree Apprenticeship fields.
- Experience of teaching in groups or tutoring and monitoring progress in other education settings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in an agile environment.
