About the Role

DAS Law, part of ARAG UK, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Private Client team within the Employment Department. As a Senior Associate, you will handle a variety of work from initial referral to conclusion, including non-contentious tasks such as advising on settlement agreement terms, drafting and negotiating settlement agreements, contracts of employment, and handbooks and policies.

This is a great opportunity to support with drafting and reviewing letters for employers and employees, advising on employment processes, assisting with ACAS EC, and handling private litigation cases. There is an established pipeline of work available, and a chance to raise your individual and business profile.

In addition to the above work, the successful candidate can expect to:

  • Develop open, honest, and supportive relationships with the Private Client team members and other colleagues across the business;
  • Collaborate and knowledge share with the wider Employment Department and business.

About You

We are looking for candidates with sound experience in employment litigation who can demonstrate the following:

  • Fully qualified Solicitor/CILEX;
  • Prior experience of contentious and non-contentious employment law work is essential;
  • Prior experience of supervising junior lawyers is essential;
  • Experience of or a desire to assist in business development;
  • The ability to work collaboratively;
  • An excellent working knowledge of employment law and procedure;
  • A commitment to ensuring good customer outcomes;
  • Excellent client care skills.
