About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at a leading manufacturing business. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and selection, including updating job descriptions and conducting interviews and assessment tests
- Managing sickness and absence, advising management and coordinating long-term absence
- Providing advice and guidance to employees on HR issues, including company policies and procedures
- Undertaking generalist HR meetings, including disciplinary, grievances, inductions, and management meetings
Requirements:
- Strong background in HR, preferably as an HR Advisor or Officer
- CIPD qualified or to degree standard
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and HR software
