About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SENCO Teacher to join our team at Barnardo's Schools. As a SENCO Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Speech and Language difficulties, and associated learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and carers to promote positive relationships and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to special educational needs.
