Job Summary:
Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end construction and facilities management procurement exercises for a client in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction and facilities management procurement exercises in line with public procurement regulations and organisational procedures.
- Assemble and complete tender packs, working closely with project teams and internal departments.
- Lead over-threshold procurements and call-offs from frameworks such as public buying organisation frameworks.
- Use e-procurement systems to run procurement processes and support post-tender evaluation, including moderation processes and contract awards.
- Advise clients to ensure compliance with procurement regulations and manage high-profile procurement projects independently.
- Lead and develop Category Officers within project teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing procurement in a public sector organisation or equivalent.
- Good working knowledge of public procurement regulations and compliance.
- Experience in using public buying organisation frameworks and e-procurement systems.
- Familiarity with construction project protocols and RIBA work stages.
