Nxtgen Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join their team as a Cost Centre Reporting Specialist. Based near Diss in the UK, this exciting opportunity will see you working closely with a leading business to assist with the production of month-end management accounts and accompanying commentary for cost centre leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost centre reports for stakeholders, providing insightful analysis and explanations for variances.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure the accurate preparation of balance sheets, including thorough reconciliations.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles, contributing to the company's financial growth and development.
  • Assist with monthly P&L reviews, working closely with finance teams to drive informed decision-making.
  • Review nominal ledgers to guarantee accurate tracking of accounting transactions.
Requirements
  • AAT qualification or progressing towards ACCA/CIMA certification.
  • Previous experience in month-end management accounting, with confidence in liaising with stakeholders and cost centre leaders.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, comfortable reviewing and analysing large data sets.
