Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and develop relationships with prospects and customers within your designated area.
  • Maintain excellent standards of customer service with new and existing customers.
  • Develop business through telephone contact, written correspondence, face-to-face appointments, and attendance at exhibitions and shows.
  • Identify customer requirements and maximize selling opportunities to develop accounts within your area.
  • Plan and carry out customer visits to a regular agreed schedule to ensure full coverage of your area.
  • Be aware of competitor activity within your area and report back to your Manager where appropriate.
Requirements
  • Previous sales experience in hand and power tools.
  • Target-driven with a proven track record of overachieving on targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Ability to present and promote the Company's products and services at all levels.
  • Good IT skills, proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programmes.
  • Methodical and highly organized.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Location

The role will involve daily travel to your customer base, so applicants must hold a full, valid Driver's License.
